    Aidwatch

    The aidwatch range consists of emergency watches with an automatic fall detector that have been specially developed for vulnerable and senior citizens. The watches have emergency call options and health monitoring and can also be used without a smartphone thanks to an integrated SIM card. The emergency call button is automatically linked to emergency contacts, which are called one after another until someone answers ( excluding answering machine). In addition, an SMS is sent to the emergency contacts. The watches can be configured via a web dashboard or directly on the watch and can be used in Switzerland and internationally. The watches are available on a subscription basis and offer the user the necessary security.

    Buddy HomeCare

    Buddy HomeCare is a social enterprise launched by the Foundation for Older Persons’ Development in Thailand. The enterprise creates job opportunities for younger people living in poverty by training them as healthcare staff. Together with volunteers, the healthcare staff provide care for older adults. The use of an esepcially developped app plays a vital role in monitoring and recording medical data of Buddy HomeCare customers.

    CareTable

    CareTable is a digital solution used by over 1'000 care facilities in the engagement of their residents. It constists of a large, ergonomically adjustable touchscreen, which can be adjusted in angle and height. With over 100 specialized apps designed for biography work, entertainment, physical activity, media access, and more, CareTable can provide a comprehensive digital experience tailored to the needs of each resident.

    DFree

    DFree® is a wearable ultrasound sensor which monitors the size of the user's bladder. It was designed primarily for seniors and people who suffer from loss of bladder control. The device is placed above the pubis bone and sends notifications to the person's phone when it’s time to go to the bathroom and has a battery life of 40 hours. Further, it can reduce burden for caregivers who provide bathroom assistance and is an alternative to diapers and medications.

    Grow App

    The Bonjour Grow app helps to experience more fulfillment in the everyday life by creating inspiration. Users define and set their weekly goals, chosing from 6 areas of everyday life. The personal, virtual flower will grow with each weekly goal that is achieved. In a playful way, Grow aims – by setting weekly goals – to define resolutions and to motivate to self-care, self-development, and self-help.

    Joy for All

    Joy for All is a battery driven cat companion robot with built-in sensors. It can purr and meow and vibrates lightly while purring and can roll onto its back to expose its tummy. Joy for All won the Dementia SMART Award of the Dementia Society of America. Studies show that the use of pet companion robots can reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.

    Livy Care

    Livy Care is an easily installable, multifunctional, and connectable device. It is a solution for safety and health monitoring in various environments, featuring fall detection, monitoring of dementia patients, and the ability to make emergency calls. It detects a wide range of hazardous situations with an accuracy of less than 1% false positives. Additionally, Livy Care serves as a data hub for various vital sign measurement devices.

    Nail QR Stickers

    In 2015 Orange Links launched a nail sticker with a QR code to identify wandering persons with dementia. The QR code can be scanned using a free smartphone application. Once the QR code is scanned, family members or nursing homes can be notified quickly.
    In September 2022 this «low technology, low cost» project received the Grand Prize in the Technology & Innovation category of the Asian Health and Longevity Innovation Awards.

    PARO

    PARO is a baby seal robot that acts as a psychophysiological biofeedback medical device. Interaction with PARO has been shown to improve moods, decrease loneliness, anxiety, pain, depression, agitation and insomnia of interacting persons with dementia, cancer, PTSD, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, or others. PARO can also improve sociability. These effects contribute to reduce the dosage of medications as a non-pharmacological therapy. PARO can be used both in home healthcare and in institutional medical and welfare services such as at hospitals, nursing homes and hospices. PARO has tactile sensors, microphones for speech recognition and sound localization, light sensors, temperature sensors, posture sensors and seven actuator systems that move silently and can cope with strong force. Through artificial intelligence PARO can learn a name as well as favorite behavior.

    SAFE-living

    SAFE-living is a contactless and intelligent emergency detector for private households. The sensor is mounted onto a wall and can recognize falls or also burglaries. The service includes an app which can also be used by family caregivers and a 24/7 professional emergency call response service. The time between an emergency and the arrival of help is minimized, and older adults are empowered to live at home for as long as possible. In 2024, the sensor was upgraded with new functions and now exists as a new version with a different name.

    SenopiMed

    SenopiMed offers an entertaining virtual reality (VR) solution for seniors to train their cognitive and motor functions anywhere. Using a VR headset seniors immerse themselves in a virtual 3d environment and solve various memory tasks using their arms and hands. These scientifically proven exercises are designed to enhance the cognitive abilities and motor skills. The immersive virtual world and playful exercises make the training fun, keeping motivation high. SenopiMed is used in care homes and clinics where progress can be tracked on the phone, tablet and desktop, making it a useful tool for caregivers to support seniors during the exercises.

    Train Therapy

    The train therapy is a railway travel simulator for nursing homes which helps to cope with behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia. Accompanied by healthcare professionals, Seniors experience a train journey in a space furnished as a train coach. The train window shows prerecorded videos of a train journey. The seniors can choose their journey and print a ticket through an interactive terminal. The therapy stimulates the memory of seniors and has a calming effect.
