In order to establish the content of technologies for people in old age among decision makers and the public, specific solutions from a technology perspective are presented at international conferences and to community or institutional representatives (outpatient care providers such as Spitex, nursing homes, foundations, etc.). This includes checking which structures already exist, such as at the level of the municipalities. The public is kept informed accordingly about current findings at various events.

The establishment of a retirement homes’ forum once a year from 2022 to 2024 – at which guest speakers talk about current developments and innovations – is intended to reach, in particular, interested parties, family members, volunteers and, as such, a wider public. At the same time, the public is expected to express their wishes and concerns here. The institution that hosts the retirement homes’ forum changes every year.
